our Values

a house of Prayer, a house of Compassion, a Storehouse to the community

a house of Prayer

‘It is written, He said to them –

“My house shall be called a house of prayer”.

Matthew 21:13

We believe that prayer changes things, so it is at the forefront of everything we do at the Storehouse.  We believe that God heals and transforms people’s lives through prayer. There are several prayer meetings each week, and all ministries are prayer led.  Hearing God’s voice is critical in ensuring we are carrying out His instructions and being a part of a church where the Holy Spirit is welcomed

a house of Compassion

‘Jesus when he came out, saw a great multitude

and was moved with compassion for them

because they were like sheep not having a shepherd’.

Mark 6:34

We believe God has called us to be compassionate with one another, and with those in our community.  The people of our Town need to know that Jesus is both the author of salvation and also the helper of man.  We as His representatives are called to have compassion for those around us.

a Storehouse to the community

‘The Lord will open for you His good storehouse,

the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season

and to bless the work of your hands’

Deuteronomy 28:12

We believe that the full resources of heaven are available to God’s church, and we are to share and distribute the resources He gives us, with the community.  We have many community groups using the building and are involved in various community projects.  Our desire is to be obedient to the call, and truly become a Storehouse for the community, both physically and spiritually.
